My Story

I love peanut butter, I eat it almost every day. My favourite way is to add some crunchy peanut butter on a banana and eat it like that. Simple, delicious and healthy. 

I make my peanut butter with minimal ingredients, basically only those ingredients that are a must for peanut butter: peanuts and sea salt. No other ingredients are needed as the natural oil in peanuts gets released in the process of making it which shows in the final product.

My passion for cooking can probably be dated back to helping my mum with cooking. She always preferred to use fresh ingredients and make things herself. I started making my own peanut butter because I couldn't find any in a store that I really liked. I've got 3 boys who also love peanut butter and we go through many jars each week. The different versions of peanut butter are named after my boys. The smooth peanut butter is labelled 'The Boss' after my first child Hugo, the crunchy peanut butter is labelled 'The King' after my second child whose middle name is Elvis, and I also have another peanut butter in the making which will be labelled 'The Artist' after my third child whose middle name is Rafael.

I buy my peanuts from a Finnish family owned business and I use Nordic sea salt that doesn't have any preservatives (you'd be surprised how many salts have preservatives, I know I was when I looked into it).
